For this post, I wanted to share a few photos of my beautiful family & friends in attendance at my bridal shower!

Tea Time Bridal Shower {pt. 1 | the details}

My sweet aunt, two grandmothers, and mom went above and beyond to throw me an amazing tea party-themed bridal shower! I have so many wonderful photos to share, so I will be breaking this post into 3 parts! Come back tomorrow and Friday to see the rest of the photos! For me, wearing black head-to-toe seems to be the most common (and least intimidating!) execution of the monochromatic trend. I am, however, starting to experiment with other colors! First up? Mint. 

Wearing one color head-to-toe is very flattering on nearly all figures. Don't worry about pairing pieces in the exact same shade of a certain color - in fact, it's sometimes better to have variating shades, especially if you're going with a brighter color. Add a few neutral accessories and your monochromatic look is complete!
